Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into the family of South London. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss while her mother was English. She was born in an estate in South London council estate, and when she was fourteen, she attended The Brit School. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned the BA in acting. While attending the academy, she performed in several performances on stage, such as The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. The actress has been an actor for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. In the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe played the lead role on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedic comedy made in 2008. A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport on ABC's show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for the duration of two weeks The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was confirmed in May 2013. After two years as a main character, she appeared as a guest in the opening episode of season 3. From 2014 to the year 2016, she appeared on Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe married her long-time love, Iddo. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played with Madekwe in Salem.
Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty and her other siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's brothers were athletic and were avid baseball players during the summer months as well as hockey in winter. Ashley never actually walked -she did dance, so at the age of two and a half she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley became a dancer immediately. Until she graduated from the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz and pointe as well as acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical and hip hop. Top soloists at big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
