Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American and Canadian singer-songwriter. Her work has been featured on more than 20 studio albums. Her music is categorized as alternative rock, folk rock but also has influences from jazz and hip-hop. Ani Difranco is believed as a feminist icon and a Grammy award winner. As one of women's first artists of the 1990s, DiFranco founded her record label. DiFranco was the child of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco.
