Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
After being inspired initially through the shadows she observed on the grass of the trees She worked over a period of months in developing a process that didn't depict the object in a 2D image. The selected subject is transformed into an image. This happens especially for living things or objects that die, such as fruit or humans. The ephemeral nature of her art style is apparent and what remains in Alexa Meade's works is a photograph. Photography and painting techniques are closely coordinated and result in a two-dimensional, flat space which achieves trompe-l'oeil. Only certain areas of the photo like hair and eyes, display the 3D dimension. Meade will sometimes integrate her painted model into the surrounding three-dimensional environment, which allows for the model to be a part of the context of their own. In this way, she blurs the lines between photography, painting installation and performance.
