Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986 in Hereford, England) is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop style after she drew the attention of the world by releasing "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream, and an aptitude to write songs that are emotional with uplifting lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of modern mainstream pop and arty independent music. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed her and started preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
