Jennifer Tilly, an American-Canadian actor, poker player and actress she has been shortlisted for the prestigious 'Academy Award, she is among the nominees. Tilly has been raised and born in Los Angeles (US), made her first acting appearance in the year 1983 in "Oh Madeline," in which she had one of the roles. In 1984, Tilly had her debut in the film "No Small Affair." Since the time, she's had no pause and is seen in numerous projects each year. She had a fine start to her acting career. Her first career was characterized by small roles in shows such as "Hill Street Blues,"" "Cheers," and "Frasier." It was far more than any first-time actor would have hoped for. The Woody Allen film "Bullets over Broadway" she got the long-awaited break that led her to become an Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actress.
