
Bellamy Young, born Amy Maria Young on February 19, 1970, [1]) is an American actress, producer and singer best recognized for her role as Melody "Mellie", Grant, in ABC's drama series Scandal (2012)-2018. In 2014, the Critics' Choice TV awarded her the top Supporting Actress award in a Drama Series. In addition, she starred on the Fox show Prodigal Son (2019-2021). Young began her professional career as an actor in the theater. Her Broadway debut was in 1997 as Mary the Life. The Life.
